THE DOUBLE MASTER DEGREE IN MANAGEMENT FOR MANAGERS AND EXECUTIVES

The Executive MBA – Master ACM program, is designed for managers and executives who want to develop a comprehensive vision of businesses and to reveal one’s leadership trough, courses, group projects, case studies and workshops within a unique and challenging learning experience.

Because a varied background is a true asset when implementing management and leadership skills, notably in the context of a fast-changing environment, the MBA-Master ACM program is open for students with educational background other than management or business (engineering, art, law, philosophy, history, technology and computer sciences, etc…). The programme aims to help them leverage their past education and professional experience by combining the knowledge they gained with management expertise, which will make them more competitive in the job market. Participants who successfully complete the program are awarded the CEFCO Executive MBA degree and the Grenoble IAE-INP, Université Grenoble Alpes Master in Applied Corporate Management national state degree. The double degree allows access to the doctoral program (DBA).

The Executive MBA – Master ACM is a resolutely international double degree program operated by two excellent partner institutions: CEFCO Business Education in Switzerland and Grenoble IAE-INP, Université Grenoble Alpes in France.

• CEFCO BUSINESS EDUCATION

  With more than 1100 students per year, CEFCO -, has been a leader in the field of executive business education in Switzerland (Romandy) for 30 years. For the Executive MBA degree, CEFCO has obtained the Swiss “EduQua” label, which certifies the quality of its teaching. Among other recognitions, CEFCO is also a member of the “FEDE”, European Federation of Schools and of the “FSEA”, Swiss federation for Executive education.




• GRENOBLE IAE-INP, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA)

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The double degree program is structured around six independent modules: three « core courses » modules which each lead to a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) (CAS in Strategy & Management, CAS in Marketing & Production, CAS in Finance & Law), one synthesis module and the Master’s dissertation module.

• The three « core courses » modules allow students to master the fundamental knowledge in management through 18 specialized courses (download a brochure for the detailed list of the core courses). Each module leads to the delivering of a « Certificate of advanced studies ». During each CAS module, students must prepare and defend a Capstone project (case study).




• At the end of the three « core courses » modules (CAS), a group summary work (synthesis module) consolidates all the topics covered; it includes the approach of a Business model and its Business plan, work on innovation and creativity as well as a Business game. These various works make it possible to acquire a Diploma of Higher Studies (D.E.S.).




• To access the double degree an in-depth work (Master's dissertation and its oral defence) on a problem related to management sciences must be carried out (the choice of subject is defined by the learner and validated by a scientific committee). The defence of the Master dissertation takes place before a committee of experts from both faculties and is supported at the University of Grenoble Alpes.

Participants who successfully complete the 3 CAS, the synthesis module and the master’s thesis are awarded the CEFCO Executive MBA degree and the Grenoble IAE-INP, Université Grenoble Alpes Master in Applied Corporate Management national state degree. The double degree allows access to the doctoral program (DBA).
